Ordered 2 albums, delivered as promised, properly packaged.

I love shopping in HMVs stores-especially since the new management came on board, as range of CDs, vinyl and optical discs have improved enormously, though there is still much work to be done in this area- HMV, give your most experienced staff input into range buying, or risk being left behind by the long tail of the online retail world! I also like the exclusive vinyl offers -though sometimes instore staff have dropped the ball on communicating early opening days for such things, meaning I arrived too late to pick things up first thing (as an early bird, this is no problem for me, but when you're told 9am opening and then find it's 8.45, this is infuriating). Also on this front, I believe HMV should be allowed to participate in RSD -record store day - as back in the golden age of vinyl, we didn't differentiate between chain and indie record shops, we bought EVERYWHERE, which is why the industry was so vibrant. To ensure the culture of physical media buying continues, RSD needs to be less utopian, snobbish an unrealistic and help support our last chain.During the pandemic, I've used HMV online a lot - to support the company, for if they folded on the high street, I'd have nowhere to shop for a good range of mainstream product in big towns and cities (indie record shops often have poor ranges of CD and focus on fashionable titles only - yes, Rough Trade, I mean you). However, the service is middling - whenever I've ordered DVDs/BDs in standard cases, they come with cases broken and inserts torn- and in one case, I'm still waiting for a £4.99 refund on a returned DVD 2 weeks after it was sent back. This is poor.

Every thing so far I've ordered online has been delivered with no issues however prior to lockdown in store visits certain blu rays I'm looking for are never in stock particular on the release dates that's the only downside

Hi I have given you a four star rating. I would give you a higher rating if you could improve some of your details on your website. I’m a proper film buff and as such I love buying films on Blu-ray & more so on 4K. It would be fantastic if you could specify if these films come with slip cover/sleeves as shown in the pictures. Also would be helpful if you could specify if the if the cover shown in the photo is the same one you will be shipped out. As these days their are a few films with various covers. Their are collectors out there like myself how like to have these slip covers on the Blu-ray & 4K films. Hope that helps To improve your website?

Alot of vinyl records out of stock ordered and paid for but don't know when I'll be receiving it,could atleast text or e-mail to let me know a time scale.!!!!

Always excellent quality and great customer service ?

Ordered some DVD's, email saying out for delivery on 05.01, emailed them twice after a week to find out why not still delivered, still not delivered on 18.01 and no reply to emails. Would not recommend the company.

Ordered two vinyl albums for £30 - both in stock at the time on-line. Two weeks on I am still awaiting one to arrive ...
